How to use topics of interest for students to learn

Sometimes students tend to lose interest in the topics that are taught at the time of teaching and it is our duty as teachers to find different ways for our students to learn using topics of interest to each of them.

Here is a really good idea that, in my experience has worked really well.

1. Indentify what you are working on, for example, simple present.
2. Ask your students to ask for a topic they like.
3. Ask them to make a presentation on any platform that help them to make presentation using the grammar you are working with.
4. Let them present it and give them a feedback at the end of each presentation.

And it is done, your students will take the notes they need and at the moment you correct their mistakes, they will be able to understand the grammar you are working with.
